In Loving Memory of Mrs. Ethel M. Witting-Chow, wife of LTS President Emeritus Rev. Dr. Simon Chow
Mrs. Ethel M. Witting-Chow, wife of LTS President Emeritus Rev. Dr. Simon Chow, passed away peacefully on the morning of May 19, 2026 (Hong Kong Time) in Sweden. Mrs. Chow was a missionary sent to Hong Kong by the Finnish Evangelical Lutheran Mission (Felm) in 1967. She dedicated herself to Christian faith-based drug addiction rehabilitation ministries and was a co-founder of the Ling Oi Centre. After her marriage in 1975, she steadfastly supported her husband’s service in both the church and the seminary. At LTS, she frequently attended our events and warmly welcomed students into her home, showing deep care for their studies and daily lives. We sincerely thank Mrs. Chow for her service and contributions and offer our deepest condolences to President Chow and his family. May the peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with them all.
