We earnestly pray for comfort for the families and friends left behind, and ask You to send Your angels to be with them as they deal with all the statutory procedures and funeral arrangements.

Loving God, we beseech You to help government personnel complete the identification of victims as quickly as possible. If any have passed away, may their remains be found soon, so their families and friends can get answers and be enabled to take the steps forward.

We pray for those who have been physically injured.
Healing God, we beseech You to heal the residents and rescue personnel who were injured in this fire, give them proper medical care, and bring them to full recovery.

We pray for the residents to adjust to their temporary accommodations.
God who dwells among us, many residents who lost their homes because of the fire are now moving to various temporary places, and we believe a considerable number will need to stay there for an extended period. We ask You, Lord, to help with their housing arrangements and enable them to adjust to the new environments and communities.

We pray that residents may soon be able to return and inspect their homes.
God of strength, many affected residents are anxiously waiting to return home and assess the post-fire situation. We beseech You to help all government search and evidence-collection efforts be completed quickly, and to grant the residents the strength to face whatever scenes they will encounter when they return.

We pray for all who are emotionally traumatized.
Comforting God, many hearts have been wounded by this tragedy—especially the residents, their relatives and friends, as well as the firefighters, medical personnel, and search teams who entered the scene of the fire. We ask You, Lord, to embrace them, comfort them, and provide suitable companions and supporters to walk with them, and grant them Your peace.

We pray for the government’s investigation and follow-up work.
Righteous God, we beseech You to help the government and all involved in uncovering the cause of this fire. If there was any wrongdoing or hidden evil, please bring it to light so that the world may learn and awaken, and together we can work to prevent such tragedies from occurring again.

We pray for the churches and Christian organizations providing support.
Our God, we beseech You to strengthen and empower the churches and Christian organizations supporting those affected by this fire. Strengthen the faith, hope, and love of all co-workers and brothers and sisters so that we may continue caring for and supporting those affected, living out the love of Christ.
