The Memorial Service of Mrs. Ethel M. Witting-Chow, wife of LTS President Emeritus Rev. Dr. Simon Chow (Sent on behalf of the Organizing Committee)
Dear Coworkers, Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
The funeral service for Mrs. Ethel M. Witting-Chow was held on Wednesday, June 3, at 1:00 PM at the Eriksberg Church in Uppsala, Sweden.
Mrs. Witting-Chow served in Hong Kong for nearly sixty years, bearing much fruit. As a brother who attended her funeral in Sweden remarked, "She was a true missionary." Throughout her life, she loved God and people; she loved the church, her family, her brothers and sisters, and her friends, never hesitating to pay any price. The title of her first book published in Hong Kong, The Seventh daughter, truly reflects her life. She is now resting in the arms of the Lord, and her life serves as an exemplary model for us to learn from.
The memorial service for Mrs. Witting-Chow will be held on Sunday, August 2, at 2:30 PM at the Grace Lutheran Church, ELCHK (364 Kwai Shing Circuit, Kwai Chung, N.T.). A tea reception will follow the service for fellowship. We would be deeply grateful for your presence.
Please remember Rev. Dr. Simon Chow and his family in your prayers.
This is hereby announced.
