Remarks
1.
The program is conducted basically in English. However, as portions of the program concern Chinese theological librarianship, such portions are for Chinese students only and will be instructed in Cantonese or Mandarin.
2.
The library courses will be offered every 2 years (Coming library courses will be offered in January 2008, and the next will be in September 2009). For students who are planning to take the one-year Diploma / M.A. program, they should pay attention to the schedule of library courses. Normally they should enter the program in September and prepare to take the Library Automation & Asian Challenges as intensive courses in June before he/she can graduate. For students who are planning to take the two-year M.A. / M. Div. Program, their schedules are more flexible and they can enter the program at any time.
 3. The program is concentrated on:
  a. Asian seminary library’s context and need;
  b. English and Chinese theological materials and information;
  c. Chinese and American descriptive cataloging rules;
  c. Dewey Decimal Classification and Library of Congress Classification;
  d. Library of Congress Subject Headings.
