In order to make good use of its facilities and serve the Church, LTS will rent its dormitories for use by any legitimate church group or church-related individual. These facilities can be used by groups for retreats, silent mediation, training sessions or seminars. Applications for rental should be submitted by letter, and the application must include the dates, times, purpose, facilities to be used, the number of people attending and the person in charge, as well as a stamped, self-addressed return envelope. Applications will only be accepted for one year or less in advance. Verbal contact will not be considered a formal application. First rights for use of the facilities belong to the seminary.

Check-in time is 3:00p.m.. The leader of the group should first come to the seminary office to register, and then receive room keys and other necessary items from the seminary's Retreat Assistant. On the day of departure, all keys and other items borrowed from the seminary should be returned to the Retreat Assistant between 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.. The group or individual must depart by 12:00p.m.. In addition to the payments for room and board, a deposit of $1000 will need to be made to the seminary at the time of registration. If there is no problem at the time of departure, this deposit will be returned within a week.

In order to maintain the cleanliness of the mattresses, each bed must have a mattress cover. Guests can use clean sheets provided by the seminary. Please do not detach the mattress cover at any time.

The seminary asks that guests maintain the cleanliness of the rooms and furniture. Guests will have to pay for anything that is broken. Please do not move chairs from the rooms or any of the other furniture. Guests are welcome to use the Common Room for meetings or small group gatherings, but please get permission first. The seminary provides washing machines that guests are welcome to use. Tokens for use in these machines can be purchased from the seminary office.

With the exception of married couples and families, members of the opposite sex cannot stay in the same room. |

Gambling and smoking on the LTS campus are strictly forbidden. |

With the exception of an electric hair dryer and electric shaver, the use of electrical appliances is prohibited in the rooms. Please do not waste electricity or water.

The main door of the dormitory will be locked at 11:00p.m. each night. Guests who are late should not attempt to climb in the dormitory by themselves in order to prevent accidents.

Lights should be extinguished in the dormitory rooms at 11:00 p.m. Air conditioners can be used only between 3:00 p.m. and 12:00 noon. unless other arrangements have been made by the group. Please do not operate the seminary air conditioners without permission in order to prevent damage.

Please do not make loud noises in the vicinity of the dormitory, or play radios, tape recorders or other appliances. For the benefit of others, silence should be respected after 11:00 p.m. Use of the telephone after this time is also prohibited.

Please do not cook in the rooms. |

Please follow the directions of the LTS campus staff. |

If there are major violations of these regulations, LTS reserves the right to remove the offending individual(s) or group from the campus without refund.
